My name is Beatriz Bahena. My first name came from my great grandmother who passed away before I was born. My name also means to bring joy or happiness.
An accomplishment that I am proud of is when I first stood up for myself when i was 6 years old. I am proud of this moment because that's when I decided that I didn't want to get picked on anymore.
Three goals that I want to accomplish by 1/15/10 , are to become more organized, because I'm obviously not organized. Make new friends because I enjoy meeting new people, especially since I'm starting high school. My last goal is to join a club that I know I'll enjoy because i want to learn something new and fun.
One thing that I'm terrified is stage fright because I always freeze when I'm in front of a crowd. I would even freeze if I have to perform anything in front of my own family. That's also why I never join anything that has to do with performing in front of crowds.
What I expect from English class is to learn more reading methods, and become a better reader. I will also hopefully learn to enjoy reading more than I already do, and that it will hopefully be a little more exciting than my past English classes. Most of all, I expect to read something new that I have never read before.
